TREATMENT
Generally, treatment for eyestrain consists of making changes in your daily habits or environment. Some people may need treatment for an underlying eye condition.
For some people, wearing glasses that are actually prescribed for a specific purpose such as for reading and TV or Computer use really helps to reduce eyestrain. You can aswell take a break at looking at screens for a couple of time, this also helps reduce eyestrain.
SOME HOME REMEDIES TO REDUCE EYESTRAIN.
You can consider these few tips to reduce eye pain.
Adjusting Lighting : When watching a television or using a Computer or any blue light device, make sure the room is a bit lit. With this, it helps prevent the light rays from the device to go straight into your eyes because the room is a little bit lit.
Taking Breaks : When using your phone laptop, television or any blue light device for work or any stuff, look away from the digital screen for some minutes to rest your eyes. Simply, rest your eyes by looking away from the digital screen like 10 - 20mins.
Blinking often to refresh the eyes : When using a digital screen device, blink your eyes often to refresh the eyes. As you blink the eyes, there is a moisture which is produced by the eyes to keep it moisturized and refreshes it. The fluid in the eyes does that to prevent the eyes from being dry.
Adjusting the Monitor: when using your phone or laptop or computer, adjust the digital screen to an arm length if you're using a Computer. for Phones and other devices, keep it at a distant that doesn't make it seem like your whole head is in the phone. keep it at a distant, also you can increase the font size to make you see the words clearly and prevent you from bringing your phone close to your face.
Look for a doctor : if your eyesight is severe, I'll recommend that you see an eye doctor to make prescriptions for you. That's is when those home remedies couldn't solve your eyestrain issues. Then you have to see an Optometrist.
Lastly, eat vegetables like Carrots, Dark, Leafy Greens, Salmon,Sweet Potatoes,Lean Meat and Poultry, Eggs and other protein foods.
