GHANAIAN GRADUATES ARE MISEDUCATED, THEY ONLY ATTEND SCHOOL FOR CERTIFICATE-JOE WISE

Mr Osei Owusu , who is popularly known as Joe Wise has said the call by the Finance Minister , Ken Ofori Atta on advising graduates to venture into entrepreneurship is a right one.

In his interview with Ultimate Fm 106.9 at Kumasi , he described Ghana miseducation as a phenomenon of attending school for certificates with no proper skills, vocational and technical competence that could lead graduates into entrepreneurship.

He also added , We are miseducated because as soon as we go beyond secondary School, we think that we are not supposed to work with our hands. An engineer doesn't want to touch dirty oil. He always wants to wear overcoats and instruct people , instead of us creating ideas on our own to start a business.

Mr Osei Owusu charged Ghanaian youth to ignore the mentality that success comes in wearing coats and tie and go to work. All the jobs and things we see around us are created by those who don't put on coat and tie.

The Minister then adviced the youth to take what The Minister of Finance Ken Ofori Atta said as a serious thing. He also enlightened the youth to think of something positive that will bring them wealth.
